Acrylic On Canvass By Elizabeth Frazier $350.00 Landfill was an area in my hometown of Holliston Massachusetts. This was such a sad and abandoned place. I felt like I had to paint it because it needed to be seen. When I was a child this area was used as the town dump.
While I was taking pictures a town employee came and asked me to leave. He explained that the area may be toxic. |

It is a real place; a pond in the woods where I would go as a child. I felt a great sense of relief when this painting was done. It is 'finished' inner work. |

It is known as the Nobscot area. I ventured here many times with my friend. This was a time in my adult life that everything still seemed new and possible.

It was a very frustrating and aggravating piece to do. It again was one of those works that I was greatly relieved to have finished and helped me work through some frustrating times.
