Below are paintings by Elizabeth Frazier. Elizabeth (aka, Lilly) has been painting for decades. A self taught Artist, she explores many new ideas through online classes and groups. 
​She enjoys painting the world around her, mostly nature. 
She loves long walks in the woods collaborating with local and online artists, challenging herself through different media and the different personalities she meets along the way.

Milford Fall was a picture of another beautiful day in Milford. Just a simple landscape of trees surrounding a small field.

Milford Brilliance

​Milford Brilliance was taken in Milford Massachusets where I visit often. I was walking along the bike path there and saw these beautiful trees. As usual this is my interpretation of what I saw.

Landfill

Landfill was an area in my hometown of Holliston Massachusetts. This was such a sad and abandoned place. I felt like I had to paint it because it needed to be seen. When I was a child this area was used as the town dump.
​While I was taking pictures a town employee came and asked me to leave. He explained that the area may be toxic.

​Our Backyard is the backyard of my childhood home. Both of my parents have passed now so this is particularly meaningful to me. It was what I saw everyday during my childhood.
The trees are in various Autumn color changes.

Red Woods was done at a particularly dark time when I was dealing with some of the deepest difficulties of my youth. It was a place in Holliston that I associate with a very hard struggle.
It is a real place; a pond in the woods where I would go as a child. I felt a great sense of relief when this painting was done. It is 'finished' inner work.

This is one of the many flowers in my fathers back yard garden. My Dad has passed now so I am glad that many pictures were taken and many more paintings of his garden are coming.

Sunshine On The Meadow

​Sunshine On The Meadow was a beautifully peaceful field in the woods of Framingham, Massachusetts. It is known as the Nobscot area. I ventured here many times with my friend. This was a time in my adult life that everything still seemed new and possible.

Reeling In Community is about the often split and confusing choices we have to make that often tear us apart. People are complicated and quite often not as they appear.
​While there are times I wish I could just disconnect from the human race, there is that joining or connection that is real for all of us.

Frazzle

​​Frazzle is difficult to look at, even agitating. It was done by hand with no 'guides' in painting. It was a very frustrating and aggravating piece to do. It again was one of those works that I was greatly relieved to have finished and helped me work through some frustrating times.
